A Cozy New Nest for Murdik

One sunny day, Murdik the wise owl was walking through the forest when he stumbled upon an old, abandoned nest. It was high up on an oak branch and seemed completely deserted. The nest looked a little worn, with twigs sticking out in some places, and the bottom was covered in dry leaves and dust. Murdik felt that this nest could be a wonderful new home for him, but he knew it would take a lot of work to make it cozy and safe.

Murdik perched on the edge of the nest and began inspecting it carefully. He wanted to figure out exactly what needed to be repaired to make the nest a comfortable and safe place. Just then, his friends arrived — Rocky the raccoon, Sia the squirrel, Hops the rabbit, and Topa the hedgehog.

“Murdik, what have you found there?” asked Rocky, noticing how intently Murdik was looking at the nest.

“I found an abandoned nest, and I think it could be a wonderful place for all of us to gather,” replied Murdik. “But to make it comfortable, I’ll need some help.”

The friends were immediately excited by the idea. They decided to help Murdik arrange the nest to make it beautiful and comfortable for all their forest friends.

Sia, always caring and attentive, said:

“I’ll gather soft leaves and grass to make the nest cozy and warm.”

Hops, who loved collecting all sorts of things, added:

“I’ll bring some pretty flowers and pine cones to decorate the nest.”

Rocky decided he would take care of the nest’s stability:

“I’ll find strong twigs and branches to reinforce the edges and make the nest sturdier.”

Topa also wanted to help and suggested:

“I’ll gather some soft moss and little grass cushions to add extra comfort.”

Full of enthusiasm, the friends went around the forest, gathering everything they could find for repairing and decorating the nest. Each of them contributed, knowing that together they could make something very special.

Soon Sia returned with a pile of soft leaves and carefully spread them across the nest’s floor, creating a cozy bed.

Hops found beautiful, bright flowers and pine cones and placed them along the nest’s edge, giving it a festive look. He was proud of his contribution and hoped the decorations would please all his friends.

Meanwhile, Rocky brought sturdy twigs and began reinforcing the nest’s edges, adding stability to the structure. He worked intently, checking each twig to ensure the nest was stable and secure.

Finally, Topa added moss and small grass cushions, making the nest even cozier. He carefully arranged each piece of moss, creating a soft corner for resting.

When everything was finished, the friends stepped back to admire the result. The nest looked brand new: the floor was covered in soft leaves, bright flowers and pine cones decorated the edges, and the sturdy branches made it solid.

Murdik was touched by his friends’ care and thanked each of them for their help:

“Thank you all! Now this place feels like a real home, and we can gather here together.”

Sia looked at the cozy nest and said:

“Now we have a place to rest and share stories.”

Hops added:

“And we can even come here on rainy days to stay warm and cozy.”

The friends settled comfortably into the nest, feeling part of this beautiful place they had created together. From that day on, the once-abandoned nest became not only a cozy shelter but also a symbol of their friendship and care for one another.
