Sunbeams

Morning was dawning, and the first sunbeams began their journey through the forest. At first, they cautiously peeked over the horizon, still hesitant and soft, as if checking whether the forest was ready to wake up. The forest was enveloped in silence: all the animals were still peacefully sleeping, and only the foliage barely swayed in the morning breeze.

Sunbeams, like light pathways, started to weave through the treetops. They carefully glided over trunks and grass, played with dewdrops, turning them into tiny diamonds. "It's time to wake up the forest!" they whispered to each other softly, and one beam shone a little brighter, illuminating the nearest clearing.

First, the beams found a little hedgehog curled up under a bush. The warm light began to warm his spines, and the hedgehog, yawning, uncurled himself. He peeked out of his hiding place, feeling the gentle touch of the sun, and stirred, stretching after a long sleep. The hedgehog grunted happily, welcoming the new day, and set off deeper into the forest in search of breakfast.

Moving further, the sunbeams glided to a tall oak tree, on a branch of which a squirrel was peacefully dozing. The rays gently touched her reddish tail, causing it to twitch slightly. The squirrel opened one eye, seeing the golden light. "Is it already morning?" she wondered, then fully woke up and skillfully jumped to the nearest branch. The squirrel knew that this was her favorite time — when the forest was just waking up, and she could find the freshest nuts.

The beams continued their journey, reaching the very edge of the forest where a family of rabbits was sleeping under some bushes. The sunbeams gently moved through the dense leaves and illuminated the fluffy face of one of the baby rabbits. It stirred, opened its eyes, and, seeing the light, gently tapped its paw to wake the others. The rabbit family gathered together, looking around the forest illuminated by the morning sun, preparing to start a new day.

Thus, the sunbeams, having completed their morning journey, warmed and awakened the entire forest. Now it was filled with sounds — the rustling of grass, the whispering of leaves, and the movements of animals. The beams shone proudly over the forest, knowing that their morning awakening had made the day bright and warm for all the forest's inhabitants.
