How the Fairy Helped on Rainy Days
Fairy Lyra helps the forest creatures survive rainy days by creating shelters and magical protective charms that warm and shield them from the storm.
Long rainy days had taken over the forest. The leaves on the trees were coated with moisture, and the ground had become so wet that even the bunnies started splashing in puddles. The entire forest looked dull, and even the sun's rays couldn't break through the thick clouds.
Little Fairy Lyra, as always, was not indifferent to the plight of the forest. She knew that rainy days could be tough for all the forest creatures. So, as soon as the rain started pouring again without stopping, Lyra stepped out of her little house, holding her magic wand.
Lyra immediately knew that she had to act quickly. The rain could last for several days, and the forest animals needed protection from the cold and water. The fairy began casting her magical spells, creating shelters for every forest dweller. She summoned soft yet sturdy protective screens made of branches and leaves, which shielded the animals from the torrential rain. These screens were so strong that even the fiercest winds couldn't move them.
The bunnies hid under large leaves, the squirrels nestled in rainproof corners, and the foxes found shelter in thick bushes. Lyra was pleased with her work, but then she noticed that many of the animals were still struggling with the rain.
— Lyra, can't we do something to make the rain less heavy? — asked the owl, who was perched on a branch, watching the fairy.
The fairy thought for a moment. Creating clouds and changing the weather was difficult, but Lyra had another idea to help. She decided to use her magic to create a sense of comfort and peace for all the forest creatures. She waved her wand, and glowing light halos began to spread throughout the forest. These rings of light created a protective shield against the rain, warming the animals and giving them a sense of safety. The animals felt much better, and even the smallest raindrops no longer bothered them as much.
Soon, Fairy Lyra decided to do something else. She gathered all her strength and created gentle warm breezes out of the air, filling the forest with the scent of pine and flowers. These breezes surrounded every corner of the forest, warming the ground and creating a feeling of spring, even though the rain was pouring down.
Lyra approached each animal, starting with the smallest ones. She hugged the bunnies and promised them that the rain would soon pass. Then she went to the wise owl and said that soon even the heaviest rain wouldn't stop the forest creatures from enjoying life.
And indeed, soon the rain began to quiet down. Lyra kept watch over everything, and after a while, the forest was once again alive and joyful. The forest was filled with new energy, and even on the damp branches, bright flowers began to bloom, which Fairy Lyra had magically created to bring joy even on rainy days.
When the rain finally stopped, Lyra left small magical traces on every tree, allowing the animals to stay dry for a little longer if the rain were to return. But everyone was sure that the forest was now ready to greet any rain with a smile and hope for better days.
The next time the rain would come to the forest, its inhabitants would know that Fairy Lyra was always nearby, ready to help. In the forest, it would never be too cold when there was a friend who could always create magic and warmth.
All the animals in the forest thanked the fairy for her care and magic, which had made their rainy days brighter and warmer.
