How the Fairy Taught the Little Owl to Fly
Fairy Lia helps the little owl Sophie overcome her fear and learn to fly. A story about trust, help, and courage.
In a forest, among tall trees and green meadows, lived a little owl named Sophie. She was still young and was learning how to fly. But every morning, when the other owls soared into the sky, Sophie stayed on her branch and watched them sadly.
— Why aren’t you flying, Sophie? — asked the kind fairy Lia, noticing the sadness on her face. — You want to fly so badly, but you’re afraid, aren’t you?
— Yes, — replied Sophie with a sigh. — I’m afraid of falling. I can’t take the first step and learn to fly like the other owls. What if I can’t do it?
Fairy Lia smiled and sat down next to the little owl.
— You’re not alone, Sophie, — she said. — Everyone who learns something new feels afraid at first. But it’s important to believe in yourself and take that first step. Let me help you!
Sophie looked at the fairy and nodded slightly.
— Will you be my mentor? — she asked with hope in her eyes.
— Of course! Together, we can do it. Let’s start with something simple. You need to feel how easy it is to take off. But first — let’s do a magical exercise!
Fairy Lia waved her magic wand, and a soft glow appeared around Sophie. She said a few words, and the air around Sophie became lighter and brighter.
— Feel how light you are, like a feather, — said the fairy. — Breathe deeply and don’t be afraid. You’ve already flown in your heart, now it’s time to learn to fly in real life.
Sophie closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and felt her body becoming lighter. She didn’t even notice how she started to sway, as if she were ready to fly.
— You’re almost ready, Sophie! — the fairy exclaimed joyfully. — Now open your eyes and try to lift off the ground.
Sophie hesitated at first, but with trembling wings, she took a small leap. At first, she wobbled a bit, but soon, gaining confidence, she spread her wings and soared into the air. She was flying like a real owl!
— I’m flying! — she cried out in joy. — I’m really flying!
Fairy Lia smiled as she watched Sophie happily flying around her.
— See, you did it! Flying isn’t as scary as it seems. The most important thing is to believe in yourself and be brave. Now you can fly whenever you want!
Sophie flew in circles, enjoying every moment, her heart filled with joy. She knew that now she could fly just like the other owls. Fear had gone, replaced by confidence and freedom.
From that day on, Sophie became the bravest and most agile owl in the forest, and every time she had to learn something new, she remembered the lesson the fairy had taught her. She realized that to succeed, you simply need to believe in yourself and not be afraid to take the first step.
The moral of the story: To overcome fear and learn something new, you must trust yourself and not be afraid to take the first step. Everything is possible if you believe in yourself.
