How to Make a No-Bake Cake

Lena and Petya always loved spending time in the kitchen, trying new and interesting things. This time, they decided to make a no-bake cake. Lena explained that it only required a few simple ingredients, and there was no need to stand by the stove. Petya was immediately intrigued, as a cake that could be made in just a few minutes sounded like something magical!

“Have you ever tried a cake that doesn’t need to be baked?” asked Lena, pulling out a pack of cookies. “It’s a very simple cake, and it turns out really tasty!”

Petya looked surprised at the pack of cookies:

“How is that possible? Cookies and butter—and that’s it? Will it really be tasty?”

Lena laughed:

“Yes, exactly! We’ll use cookies, butter, and sweetened condensed milk, and all of this together will create the most delicious cake! The most important part is layering everything correctly.”

Petya eagerly approached the table, ready to start preparing. Lena explained that the first step was to melt the butter.

“We’ll melt the butter so it becomes liquid,” said Lena, setting a small saucepan on the stove. “The butter should be melted on low heat so it doesn’t burn.”

Petya watched carefully as Lena melted the butter. The smell that began to fill the kitchen was simply amazing.

“While the butter is melting, I’ll prepare the cookies,” said Petya. “We need to break them up a bit to make it easier to layer in the pan.”

Lena and Petya began breaking the cookies into small pieces, which they would later use to form the base of the cake. Once the butter was completely melted, Lena added the sweetened condensed milk, stirred everything together, and let the mixture cool a little.

“We need to let the mixture thicken a bit before we start assembling the cake,” Lena explained.

Meanwhile, Petya began laying the first pieces of cookie into the cake pan to form the base. He tried to distribute the cookies evenly across the bottom so the cake would look neat and even.

“Now that we have the first layer, we’ll pour the melted butter and condensed milk mixture over it,” said Lena, pouring the liquid mixture over the cookies. “It’s important that the mixture soaks into the cookies so the cake turns out soft and delicious.”

Lena carefully poured the mixture over the cookies, and Petya helped spread it evenly. They made sure each piece of cookie was covered with the liquid so the final cake would be soft and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

“Look, everything is getting tastier with every layer!” said Petya, amazed at how quickly the process was coming together.

Lena smiled and suggested continuing the process by adding a second layer of cookies and then pouring the butter-condensed milk mixture over it again. Each new layer was just like the first, and with every step, the cake grew taller.

“We’re almost done! Now we just need to wait for the cake to firm up a bit,” said Lena when all the layers were done. “Now let’s put it in the fridge to make it firmer and tastier. It’s best to leave it for a few hours, or even overnight!”

Petya eagerly peered into the pan:

“I can’t wait to try this cake! It already looks so delicious!”

After a few hours, when the cake had cooled and firmed up enough, Lena and Petya took it out of the fridge. The cake looked amazing, and they eagerly began to taste it.

“Mmm, this is unbelievably good!” said Petya, taking the first bite. “It’s so soft, and the flavor is just magical!”

Lena also tried it and nodded happily:

“Yes, this was truly a quick and easy cake! We made it with our own hands, using simple ingredients, and the result exceeded all our expectations!”

The kids realized that making a no-bake cake was not only fun and exciting but also practical, since you could make delicious desserts with little effort. They decided that such cakes could be made for holidays or just to treat themselves and their loved ones.
