In a dense bamboo forest, where moonlight filtered through the leaves, lived a little monkey named Yu. She was the most curious of all the monkeys and discovered something new every day. But one night, she saw something she had never noticed before.
Sitting on a branch, Yu looked down and gasped: the moon was shimmering in the pond below her! It looked so close, as if it had fallen from the sky. "I will save the moon and put it back in its place!" decided Yu.
The monkey jumped from the tree and ran to the water. She stretched out her paw to grab the moon, but only disturbed the pond's surface, and the moon disappeared. "Oh no!" cried Yu. "It's hiding from me!"
Determined that her paws were too short, Yu took a long bamboo stick. She dipped it into the water and tried to "pull" the moon out, but nothing happened. Disappointed, she plopped down on the ground and pondered.
Then an old wise tiger approached her, who had been watching her attempts. "What are you doing, little Yu?" he asked.
"I'm trying to get the moon out of the pond," replied the monkey. "But it keeps running away."
The tiger smiled gently: "Yu, that's not the moon in the water. It's its reflection. Look up at the sky."
The monkey raised her eyes and saw the moon shining brightly high in the sky. She laughed: "How could I not notice! The moon has been in place all along."
From then on, Yu began to observe the world around her more carefully, and her curiosity helped her discover new truths.
Moral of the Story: Not everything we see is the truth. Sometimes, you need to look at things from a different perspective to understand their true nature.
