The Little Plane and the Old Locomotive's Rescue

One warm morning, the little plane Wintik was flying over the Quiet Grove Station, joyfully observing the forest and fields surrounding the railway tracks. He loved gliding over the green trees and watching the sunlight filter through the leaves. But suddenly, he noticed something unusual on the tracks.

On the tracks stood an old locomotive named Puff-Puff. He looked tired and a bit sad. Puff-Puff was trying to move, but his wheels were stuck on rusty, moss-covered rails blocked with leaves. Wintik, always ready to help friends, decided to fly down and find out what had happened.

— Hello, Puff-Puff! Are you stuck? — Wintik asked kindly as he landed beside the locomotive.

The old locomotive sighed and nodded slowly:

— Yes, Wintik, my wheels are stuck in the mud, and the tracks are covered in moss. I can't move forward, but I need to deliver an important load to the station.

Wintik felt his desire to help his friend awaken. He knew that without support, Puff-Puff wouldn't be able to fulfill his task.

— Don’t worry, Puff-Puff! I’ll call for friends to help, and together we’ll clear the path. Hang in there, we’ll be back soon! — Wintik promised, flapping his wings.

Wintik quickly rose into the air and flew toward the forest, where his friends lived. The first friend he met was Timo the hedgehog, known for his strength and endurance. Wintik knew that Timo's sharp spikes would help scrape the moss off the rails.

— Timo, we have a problem! Puff-Puff is stuck on the tracks and needs help. Come with us! — Wintik called.

Timo agreed without hesitation and joined Wintik. Along the way, they met Susi the squirrel, known for her agility and ability to quickly handle challenges. Wintik invited her to join, and she cheerfully agreed, understanding that her help could be crucial.

When the whole team gathered, they returned to Puff-Puff. The locomotive was overjoyed to see that help had arrived.

— Thank you, friends! I’m so grateful for your help, — said Puff-Puff warmly.

Wintik and his friends got to work immediately. Timo the hedgehog carefully scraped the moss off the tracks with his sharp spikes, Susi the squirrel deftly removed twigs and stones stuck between the rails, and Wintik watched from above, directing his friends to where the path still needed to be cleared.

The work was challenging, but everyone knew they could do it together. They worked smoothly and cheerfully, encouraging each other and chatting along the way. Gradually, the rails began to shine again in the sunlight, free from dirt and obstacles.

Finally, the path was clear. Puff-Puff cautiously tested his wheels and felt his strength return. With a happy toot, he slowly moved forward as Wintik and his friends joyfully watched him overcome the last stretch.

— Hooray! We did it! — Wintik exclaimed excitedly, rising into the air and circling over the tracks.

Puff-Puff let out a joyful puff of steam and said:

— Thank you, friends! Thanks to you, I can deliver my load to Quiet Grove Station. You are true heroes, and I will never forget your help.

Since then, Wintik and his friends were always ready to help Puff-Puff and other forest residents, knowing that friendship and teamwork make the world better and kinder.
