Lena and Petya sat in an old bus speeding along the narrow English roads, heading toward the mysterious fields. In their backpacks were maps, notebooks, flashlights, and many other tools that might come in handy for the excavation. They were ready to uncover one of the greatest archaeological mysteries of the past few decades.

"Here we are," said Petya, pointing out the window. "These are the fields where the mysterious circles appear. Do you believe we can solve their mystery?"

Lena looked out the window and frowned. On the green fields, vast circular patterns were burned into the grass. These shapes, resembling ancient geometric drawings, had puzzled researchers for years. How could people, technologies, or even the fields themselves have created such complex patterns?

"Of course I believe it! These circles can't be a coincidence," Lena replied. "We need to figure out what they mean and why they were created. I’ve read that they might be a form of communication used in ancient times."

As the children began to examine the land around them, they found numerous small artifacts: fragments of stones, ancient coins, and even small wooden figurines that were likely used in rituals. Some of them were so old that Lena and Petya couldn’t determine their exact age, but they definitely looked like part of some ceremony.

"We need more information," said Petya, deep in thought. "If these circles are indeed a form of ancient communication, maybe we’ll find more traces that can help us decode their meaning."

Deciding to continue their investigation, Lena and Petya headed to the local library to study old maps and documents. They found descriptions of circles mentioned in medieval manuscripts.
