Farewell to the Kindergarten: Vanya Remembers His Adventures and Friends
As Vanya prepares to leave kindergarten, he recalls happy adventures, friends, and precious memories, realizing how important it is to cherish every moment spent with loved ones.
On his last day in kindergarten, Vanya’s heart was filled with excitement and a little sadness. He knew he would soon be going to school, but saying goodbye to his friends, his teacher Anna Petrovna, and all the things he had grown to love was hard. Anna Petrovna explained that today was a special day, a time to say farewell and remember all the wonderful experiences they had shared here.
Vanya looked around his classroom, recalling how they played in different corners, painted bright pictures, made crafts, and put on plays. He smiled, remembering how he, Lisa, and Pasha once built a huge castle out of blocks that almost tumbled down when Pasha accidentally nudged it with his hand. But they only laughed and started building it again.
Then, Vanya went over to the art table where they often painted and worked with clay. He remembered how Lisa painted a bright rainbow and Pasha molded a little car from clay, proudly showing it to everyone. It was a place where they could all share their dreams and imaginations, and Vanya felt grateful for all he had learned and experienced there.
Anna Petrovna suggested that everyone share their favorite memories. Lisa talked about their trip to the zoo where they saw elephants and giraffes, and Pasha remembered the day they flew kites. Vanya recalled the water games, splashing and playing in the sun. The children smiled as they listened to each other, and they knew these memories would stay with them forever.
After they shared, Anna Petrovna proposed creating a “memory tree.” Each child was given a paper leaf to draw or write something they remembered most. Vanya drew his favorite paper boat that he made with Anna Petrovna during an origami lesson. Lisa drew her rainbow and flowers, while Pasha drew a scene from their playtime on the playground. They attached their leaves to a large, painted tree, creating a colorful “tree” full of memories.
When the memory tree was complete, Anna Petrovna praised the children for their creativity and teamwork. They looked at the tree, each leaf a reminder of the special moments they had shared. Anna Petrovna reminded them that while they were leaving kindergarten, the memories of these days would stay with them always.
At the end of the day, Anna Petrovna gave each child a small card with warm words and wishes for the future. Vanya held his card proudly and felt that this farewell wasn’t an end, but the beginning of something new. Lisa and Pasha promised to stay friends even if they would now see each other less often. They all hugged, feeling like true friends.
Moral: Saying goodbye is not an end but the beginning of a new journey. Friends and memories stay with us, making us stronger and kinder. Each moment spent together is precious, filling our hearts with warmth and joy.
