Friends Solve Riddles
Hopper finds an old book of riddles and brings it to his friends. Rocky, Sia, and Topa enjoy solving the riddles together, testing their cleverness and learning to work as a team. A story about friendship and fun challenges.
It was a calm, sunny day, and the friends gathered on Flower Meadow to share their news. Hopper, the cheerful and energetic bunny, arrived a little earlier than the others. With him, he had an unusual find – an old book he had stumbled upon in the forest.
When Rocky, Sia, and Topa arrived, Hopper proudly held up the book for everyone to see. It looked ancient, with worn pages and slightly yellowed paper. Stars and mysterious symbols decorated the cover, and the title read: “Riddles of the Forest.”
“Look what I found!” Hopper said proudly, holding the book in his paws. “It’s full of riddles! What do you think—can we solve them?”
Rocky, always curious, was instantly interested.
“This is going to be fun!” he replied. “Let’s put our brains to the test!”
Topa, the cautious and thoughtful hedgehog, came closer and opened the first page. On it was a picture of flowers and a riddle underneath.
“Read it, Topa!” said Sia, eager to try her skills.
Topa read the first riddle aloud:
“What is this wonder in our forest? Green in May, yellow in September.”
The friends thought about it. Sia, looking at the trees around them, smiled and said:
“I think it’s the leaves! They change color in the fall.”
“Correct!” said Topa, turning the page. “Let’s try the next one!”
On this page, a drop of water was drawn, and the riddle read:
“It flows without tiring. When the sun shines, it vanishes in an instant.”
Rocky, who spent a lot of time by the Rainbow Stream, answered without hesitation:
“That’s water!”
Hopper clapped his paws in delight, thrilled that his friends had found the answer so quickly. One riddle after another, they solved the clever questions, enjoying each correct answer.
Now it was time for another riddle. This time, a circle resembling the sun was pictured, and the text read:
“Rises in the morning, warms us all, and hides at nightfall.”
Sia, who often basked in the sun, said joyfully:
“It’s the sun! It rises at dawn and hides at sunset.”
Hopper praised Sia, and Topa suggested they check out the final riddle on the page, which seemed the hardest. The picture showed a forest, and the text read:
“I live in the forest; I am a silent friend. Tall or short, I bring cool shade in summer and comfort in winter.”
Rocky, with a thoughtful look, said:
“I think it’s a tree. They’re always here, close to us, and protect us from the sun.”
The friends happily agreed, thrilled to have solved all the riddles in the book. Topa closed the book and suggested they keep it safe so they could come back to it from time to time to see if any new riddles appeared.
“That was an amazing day!” Rocky said, hugging his friends. “Thank you, Hopper, for finding the book! It made our day fun and exciting.”
Hopper was glad to bring joy to his friends and suggested they keep the book in a secret place so they could look at it many times in the future.
From that day on, the book of riddles became their special treasure. Whenever they wanted, they could come back to it to spend time together and test their knowledge in a fun way. As each of them knew, friendship is life’s greatest adventure.
