Hedgehog and Wolf: The Journey to the Beginning of the Rainbow
After the rain, Hedgehog and Wolf spot a rainbow and set out to find its beginning, amazed by its beauty. They come to understand that the rainbow is a natural wonder they can see but never touch.
After a rainy day, the forest was filled with freshness and calm. Water droplets quietly fell from the leaves, and everything was bathed in a soft light, as if the forest itself was resting, enjoying the long-awaited rain. Hedgehog and Wolf sat in a forest clearing, breathing in the fresh air and listening to the birdsong blending with the quiet rustle of the forest around them.
Suddenly, Hedgehog looked up at the sky and froze in amazement.
– Wolf, look! – he exclaimed, pointing his paw towards the sky.
Wolf turned his head and saw a bright rainbow, hovering above the trees and stretching from one end of the forest to the other. It was stunningly beautiful, with vivid colors – from deep violet to sunny yellow – glowing against the blue sky.
– How beautiful! – whispered Wolf in awe, unable to take his eyes off it. – I’ve never seen anything like this before!
Enchanted by this natural wonder, Hedgehog looked at Wolf and suggested:
– Let’s try to find where the rainbow begins! Maybe it's something magical, and if we reach its beginning, we’ll discover where it gets its bright colors.
Wolf agreed enthusiastically, as he was also curious about what might lie at the start of the rainbow. They set off, watching as the rainbow stretched into the distance, disappearing behind trees and hills. The friends tried to stay directly beneath it, so they wouldn’t lose sight of it, happily chatting about what might await them ahead.
Along the way, they passed through dense forest, crossed a stream, and stopped on a small hill from which they could see the rainbow continuing its majestic path across the sky.
– Look, it seems so close! – Hedgehog said excitedly, looking at Wolf. – It feels like we’re almost at its beginning!
Wolf nodded happily and hurried forward, trying not to lose sight of this bright natural wonder. The closer they got, the more it seemed that the rainbow was moving away, almost as if inviting them on an endless journey.
Finally, they reached a large clearing and stopped to rest and enjoy the view. The rainbow shone so brightly that it seemed like they could reach out and touch it. Inspired by this thought, Hedgehog said:
– What do you think, Wolf? Can we touch the rainbow? It looks so real.
Wolf pondered.
– Maybe not. But it feels like it’s calling us forward, as if it wants us to keep going further and further.
They continued their journey, making their way through forest paths, and the rainbow always seemed just ahead, prompting them to move forward. Eventually, they realized that the rainbow was a beautiful but unreachable wonder.
With a slight sigh, Hedgehog said:
– The rainbow is probably a gift from nature, something we can only see and remember. It’s not meant to be captured, just admired for its beauty.
Wolf agreed, and as they looked up at the sky, they understood that sometimes the most beautiful things in life are simply to stop and appreciate nature’s wonders, like the rainbow, and to feel the beauty of the world.
With this realization, they returned to their clearing, where their friends and the familiar forest awaited them, understanding that the rainbow would remain a special memory of nature's beauty.
