How the Fairy Helped Prepare the Forest Feast
Fairy Lyra helps the badger organize a feast in the forest, despite the heavy rain, using her magic and friendship with the forest creatures.
In the forest lived a kind and hardworking cook – a badger named Brutus. He was known in the area for his delicious pies and treats. Every year, the forest creatures gathered for a grand feast to bid farewell to autumn and welcome winter. This year, Brutus was especially prepared for the celebration, as he wanted to cook some unusual dishes for everyone.
But one day, just one day before the feast, a heavy rain started pouring down. The badger became worried about how he could get everything ready in time. At first, he tried to find shelter for his supplies, but the rain was so strong that his efforts were unsuccessful. Brutus sat under a large oak tree, wondering what to do.
And just as Brutus was about to give up, a fairy appeared in the forest. It was Fairy Lyra, known for her wonders and kindness. When she saw that Brutus was upset, she flew over to him and asked:
— Why are you so sad, Badger? Aren’t you preparing a feast for all the forest creatures?
— Oh, Fairy Lyra! I’m trying, but the rain is stopping me from finishing everything. My pies might spoil, and I won’t be able to do everything I planned, — replied the badger.
The fairy thought for a moment and then smiled:
— Don’t worry, I will help you. Let the rain pour, and we will have a real feast despite everything! — said Lyra, waving her magic wand.
At that moment, the clouds parted, and the rain stopped. But the fairy’s magic wasn’t just about stopping the rain – she performed a miracle. Around the badger, colorful lanterns appeared, and the tables were filled with the most delicious treats. Pies, baked to a golden crust, fruits that had never been seen in the forest, and sweet desserts, all appeared on the table as if by magic.
— Do you see, Badger, everything is ready now. The feast can begin! — said Lyra, smiling. The forest creatures started gathering, and everyone took part in the celebration.
When the feast was in full swing, Lyra joined the forest creatures, and they all thanked the fairy for her help. The badger was very happy and said:
— Thank you, Fairy Lyra! Without your help, this feast wouldn’t have been possible. You are a true magician!
— Friends always help one another, — replied the fairy, — and the most important thing is not just magic, but good hearts that are ready to help.
From that day on, the forest creatures knew that in the toughest moments, they could count on their friends for help. And Fairy Lyra became a symbol of kindness and magic, for she not only helped prepare the feast but also filled everyone’s hearts with joy and warmth.
