How the Fairy Treated the Forest Animals to Sweet Berries
Fairy Lilia picks the sweetest berries for her forest friends and teaches children the importance of caring for others and the joy of sharing.
One sunny morning, Fairy Lilia was flying through the forest, thinking about how to surprise her friends. She decided to pick the sweetest and juiciest berries to treat all the forest animals. The forest was full of different kinds of berries—raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and even some blackberries. Lilia flew over to the bushes and started picking the berries, filling her basket.
— Today is going to be a real celebration! — the fairy said to herself. — I’ll treat my friends to sweet berries, and we’ll play and have fun together!
Soon, she arrived at a meadow where her friends—the rabbits, squirrels, hedgehogs, and even the foxes—were waiting eagerly. All the animals were excited to taste the treat. Lilia spread all the berries she had picked on a large grassy cushion. The bright and juicy berries sparkled in the sun, and every animal was thrilled.
— Wow! What a delicious treat! — exclaimed a little rabbit, immediately grabbing a few berries.
The squirrel began munching on strawberries, while the hedgehog happily ate blueberries. The fox loved raspberries so much that she ate nearly the whole basket, but she didn’t forget her friends and offered them some as well.
Everyone was enjoying the sweet taste, and Lilia sat beside her friends, happy that her gift brought so much joy to everyone. But then, she noticed that in a corner of the meadow, an old wise owl chick was standing and looking at the berries with a sad expression.
— Owl chick, why aren’t you eating? — the fairy asked.
— Oh, I can’t, — replied the owl chick. — I don’t like berries. I prefer something else.
The fairy thought for a moment and then said:
— Well, maybe you’d like me to bring you something else? We have plenty of other treats in the forest!
The owl chick thought for a moment, and then its eyes lit up:
— I love nuts! Can I have some nuts?
— Of course! — said the fairy, and with a wave of her wand, she easily conjured nuts that fell right in front of the owl chick.
The owl chick happily began to enjoy the treat, and the fairy smiled. Everyone in the forest felt how important it was to care for each other and share. Soon, another bird flew into the meadow, eager to join in the treat. Without hesitation, Lilia offered it the sweetest berries.
— How wonderful that we’re all together, — said Fairy Lilia, watching her friends. — Sharing joy and treats with friends is truly wonderful!
The celebration continued until evening. The forest animals not only ate their fill, but also had fun playing different games. Finally, they all sat down on the grass, tired but happy.
— Thank you, Lilia, — all her friends said. — You made our day special. We’re so happy we could spend time together!
The fairy smiled and replied:
— You see, my dear friends, the most important thing in life is to share. When we share joy and care, our friendship only grows stronger.
