How to Make Slime with Tetrahydrofuran

Lena and Petya were always passionate about experiments. They were always looking for something new and interesting to make unusual things with their own hands. This time, their choice fell on slime. Lena had read in a magazine that slime can be made with regular glue, borax, and water. She immediately shared the idea with Petya, and they decided to carry out this experiment right in the kitchen. Petya was excited about the idea because slime was not only fun but also amusing.

“Have you ever made slime at home?” asked Lena, pulling out glue and borax. “It’s going to be fun! We’re going to make real slime that stretches, bubbles, and sticks to your hands. You just need to follow the instructions exactly!”

Petya looked curiously at the glue:

“Slime! That’s the stuff you can knead and stretch like jelly, right? Wow, but how do you think we’ll make it from glue and water?”

Lena smiled and replied:

“Of course! We’ll use glue, water, and a little bit of borax. The borax will help make the slime firmer and more flexible. It’ll help bind everything together and turn it into real slime!”

The two of them began preparing all the necessary materials. Lena placed a bottle of glue, a packet of borax, some water, and a mixing bowl on the table. Too much borax would make it too stiff, while too little would make the slime sticky and not as elastic.
