Little Fox Felix and His Forest Adventure

Once in the forest lived a young fox named Felix. He was very curious and loved wandering through the autumn forest, where the leaves turned yellow, orange, and red. One morning, Felix decided to find out how his forest friends were preparing for winter.

Little fox Felix sets off into the forest

Felix trotted along the forest path, looking around. Suddenly, he saw a squirrel jumping from branch to branch, gathering acorns. The little fox walked closer and called out:

"Hello, Squirrel! What are you doing?"

The squirrel turned and smiled, "Hi, Felix! I’m gathering acorns and nuts for winter. When it gets cold, food will be harder to find, so I’m stocking up now!"

Felix thought about it. "That’s a great idea! You’re so clever, Squirrel. May I help you?"

The squirrel was happy to agree. Together, they began gathering acorns and nuts, filling the squirrel’s nest with supplies. The squirrel explained to Felix how important it was to gather food to avoid going hungry during the winter.

When they finished, Felix thanked the squirrel and continued on to see how his other friends were getting ready for winter.

Felix walked further through the forest and came across a hedgehog rolling an apple on his back. "Hello, Hedgehog!" called Felix. "Where are you taking that apple?"

"Hi, Felix! I’m bringing this apple to my burrow to store for winter. It’ll be very useful then!" the hedgehog replied, pausing to chat with his friend.

Felix asked with interest, "Can I see your burrow?"

The hedgehog nodded, and they went together. When they arrived, Felix saw that the hedgehog’s burrow was cozy and full of supplies — apples, mushrooms, and even a few nuts.

"You’ve got such an impressive collection, Hedgehog!" said Felix admiringly.

The hedgehog smiled modestly, "Thanks, Felix! With these, I’ll be warm and well-fed during winter."

After his visit, Felix decided to check on another friend — a rabbit named Zuza. He knew Zuza often hid near the forest edge.

When Felix reached the bushes, he saw Zuza carrying dry leaves to his burrow.

"Hi, Zuza!" called Felix. "What are you doing?"

Zuza stopped and answered, "Hi, Felix! I’m making my burrow warm and cozy for winter."

Felix helped Zuza gather leaves, and together they made the rabbit’s burrow extra snug. Now Zuza knew he’d be warm all winter long.

As the day came to an end, Felix returned home full of new experiences. He realized that autumn wasn’t just about colorful leaves, but also a time when everyone prepared for winter’s arrival. He promised himself he’d start preparing tomorrow too.

And so ended the autumn adventure of little fox Felix, filled with encounters and wise advice from friends. Now Felix knew how important it was to be ready for winter and how wonderful the autumn forest could be.
