Music Day: Vanya and Friends Host a Concert
Vanya and his friends try out different musical instruments and host their first concert, discovering the world of music and the joy of creating together.
In the morning at the kindergarten, Anna Petrovna announced that today would be a special day — Music Day. She explained that each child would have the opportunity to try playing different musical instruments and learn how music sounds when you create it yourself. Vanya, Lisa, Pasha, and the other children eagerly awaited this moment, anticipating something unusual and fun.
Anna Petrovna led them into a large room where various musical instruments were laid out on the tables: small drums, maracas, tambourines, triangles, and bells. The room filled with joyful exclamations — the children looked at the instruments with interest and carefully picked them up. Vanya immediately chose a drum, Lisa took maracas, and Pasha decided to try the triangle.
Anna Petrovna showed the children how to hold the instruments and what sounds each of them could produce. She explained that the drum provides the rhythm, maracas add cheerful sounds, and the triangle can set a melodic point in each song. The children began to try the instruments, and after a few minutes, the room was filled with a cacophony of sounds. Vanya happily banged on the drum, imagining himself as a real musician.
Anna Petrovna suggested that they play a simple melody together to create their first musical ensemble. She began counting: "One, two, three," and the children tried to strike their instruments simultaneously. At first, it was difficult — some started too early, others too late, and the sounds were chaotic. But gradually, under Anna Petrovna's guidance, the children began to find the rhythm and play more harmoniously.
Lisa smiled and rhythmically shook her maracas, setting a general atmosphere of joy. Pasha gently struck the triangle, adding melody. And Vanya proudly played the drum, striving to stay in time. For the first time, they felt like a real ensemble, creating music together.
When the children managed to play a simple melody, Anna Petrovna praised their effort and suggested holding a small concert. The children were very excited and began rehearsing to perform for the other kids and teachers. They came up with a name for their ensemble — "Cheerful Sounds." Vanya was so proud that they had become a real music group, even if it was very small.
After a short rehearsal, it was time for the performance. The children took their places, and Anna Petrovna invited the other children from the group to listen to the mini-concert. Lisa, Pasha, and Vanya exchanged confident looks and began to play. The room filled with the sounds of their music, and the children sitting in the hall watched their friends' performance with interest.
When the song ended, the hall erupted in applause. Vanya and his friends smiled, feeling like real artists. Anna Petrovna thanked them for the wonderful performance and said that they all did great because music is not only about sounds but also a way to express feelings and share joy with others. The children understood that they had experienced not just a Music Day, but a day full of new discoveries and the joy of creating together.
Vanya returned home, full of impressions, and told his parents how he performed in front of his friends, how he played the drum, and how they all created their first melody together. Mom and Dad smiled and said that he was great because music is a special language through which you can communicate with friends and the world. Vanya realized that this day had become one of the most memorable for him.
Moral: Music unites and helps us express our feelings. When we play together, we learn to work as a team, listen to each other, and create something beautiful. Collaborative creativity brings joy and teaches us to be attentive and friendly.
