The Knight's Secret

Lena and Petya stood in the dim light of the old castle, carefully surveying everything around them. The walls were covered with cracks, and the windows, through which light had once poured in, now barely opened, as if shy to be seen. The castle, built centuries ago, was known in the area not only for its majestic architecture but also for its unusual history. Legends spoke of valuable artifacts hidden in its dungeons, linked to the great knights of the past.

“This is so cool! We’re in a real knight’s castle, Petya!” Lena exclaimed with excitement, her eyes sparkling with anticipation of new discoveries.

“And it seems to me that we’re in a place no one has explored yet. Who knows what we might find here,” replied Petya, examining the ancient objects displayed in the showcases.

And then, while standing by one of the old artifacts, Lena noticed a strange gleam under a layer of dust. They approached, and before them stood a knight’s armor, looking so ancient it seemed to be a part of the castle itself.

“This is a knight’s armor!” Petya exclaimed. “But who could have worn it?”

Lena and Petya decided to investigate this discovery. They carefully began to examine the armor and noticed carved symbols on it that could not have been accidental. It wasn’t just decoration; it might have been an ancient code connected to the history of the knights who lived in this castle.

“This doesn’t seem like ordinary armor. These symbols must mean something,” said Lena, studying the patterns on the helmet closely.

“Let’s try to figure out what they might mean. I’m sure this is no coincidence,” replied Petya.

They decided to follow the trail of these symbols and began exploring the castle. After passing through several dark corridors and ancient rooms, they came across a hidden door that was sealed shut. Suddenly, Lena noticed that one of the symbols on the door matched the one they had seen on the armor.
