The Little Traveler

Mila meets a little seahorse who has ventured too far from home. She decides to accompany him back, keeping him safe along the way and showing him the wonders of the underwater world.

The Little Traveler

Mila was splashing around in the calm waters when she noticed a tiny seahorse swimming far from the coral reefs. His small body was trembling, and he looked lost, unsure how to find his way back home.

Mila gently swam over to him and smiled warmly:

— Hello, little traveler! Are you lost?

The seahorse lifted his head, relaxing a bit when he saw Mila. His big eyes looked at her with gratitude and relief.

— I… I just wanted to see the ocean, — he replied in a quiet voice. — But now I don’t know how to get back home. My home is over there, past the big coral reef, but I swam too far...

Mila realized he was truly lost, and she couldn't help but feel compassion.

— Don’t worry, I’ll help you find your way back, — she reassured him. — Together, we’ll make it.

They set off through the calm waters, with Mila keeping the seahorse safe from strong currents and unexpected dangers. Along the way, they encountered many interesting sea creatures who were delighted to see Mila and watched the tiny seahorse with curiosity.

The first friend they met was a friendly crab named Krevy. Krevy looked at the seahorse curiously and waved a claw in greeting.

— Hello, Mila! Who’s your new friend? — Krevy asked, nodding toward the seahorse.

Mila explained how she’d found the little traveler, lost, and had decided to help him get home. Krevy nodded in approval:

— Be careful; sometimes, strong currents flow far from the reefs. If you’d like, I can show you a shortcut through my territory.

With Krevy’s help, they made their way through dense seaweed fields, avoiding difficult areas. Along the way, the little seahorse gazed in awe at the world around him.

— I never knew the ocean was so big and beautiful, — he confessed to Mila.

Mila smiled:

— The ocean truly is amazing, but sometimes, when you're small, it’s better to stay close to home. One day, you’ll grow up and be able to go on adventures.

Soon, they saw a large shadow ahead. It was the wise old fish Kapa, who knew every corner of the ocean. She noticed them and swam over slowly to get a closer look at Mila and her little companion.

— You’ve traveled quite far, little friend, — Kapa said, looking at the seahorse. — Strong currents could have carried you even farther away.

Mila politely asked Kapa to guide them on a safer path, and with a serious nod, she led them through a narrow passage between the reefs. This path helped them avoid strong currents, and they soon reached the calm waters where the little seahorse lived.

Along the way, they met a glowing jellyfish named Lumia, who offered to light the way in the darker areas. Thanks to her, they safely navigated through fields of seaweed and coral.

— Thank you, Lumia! — the little seahorse said gratefully, watching in wonder as she lit up their path.

Finally, after a long journey, they arrived at the coral reef where the little seahorse lived. He looked around, and his eyes filled with joy — he was finally home!

— Thank you, Mila! Thank you to everyone who helped us, — he said gratefully.

Mila smiled and gently patted his head:

— Always happy to help. Now you know the ocean is vast and beautiful, but sometimes, it’s better to travel with someone who knows the way.

The seahorse hugged Mila with his tail and hurried off to join his family, who had been waiting for him. And Mila swam back, her heart full of happiness, knowing she’d helped a new friend.
