The Mystery of the Gemstone

Lena and Petya, together with Professor Skvorcov and their friends, found themselves deep in the Indian jungle. As they ventured deeper into the green thicket, they eagerly thought about the upcoming exploration of an ancient temple hidden in this part of the world. It was said that within it lay a valuable gemstone that the priests had hidden many years ago.

“Look at these trees! They’re so tall, like real giants!” exclaimed Masha, looking around in awe.

“These jungles are full of mysteries,” said the professor. “There are still many riddles here waiting to be uncovered. The old temple, where the gemstone is hidden, was built thousands of years ago, and no one knows exactly where it is.”

And then, in front of them, the entrance to the temple appeared. It looked like a massive stone structure, almost swallowed by the jungle, with intricate carvings of gods on the walls.

“There it is! This temple hides many secrets, and our main question is: where exactly is the gemstone?” said the professor, looking at the group. “It’s time to act!”

As they entered the temple, they noticed its complex structure, made up of numerous corridors and labyrinths. Everywhere they turned, there were secret mechanisms and traps that the ancient priests had left to protect the sanctum and its treasures.

“Wow! There are traps everywhere!” shouted Petya, just barely dodging a massive stone slab that almost fell on them.

“It’s all designed to protect the treasures,” said the professor, carefully inspecting the walls and floor. “But we won’t stop. We need to find that gemstone!”

As they ventured further, the group discovered mysterious symbols carved into the stones, pointing the way forward. Lena noticed that one of the floor tiles was slightly higher than the others. She carefully lifted it, revealing a passage into a dark corridor.

“This must be the right way!” said Lena confidently. “Let’s go!”

They descended a staircase and found themselves in the underground part of the temple, where the air was heavy and damp. Suddenly, a giant statue appeared before them, surrounded by sparkling gemstones. But the main stone, according to the legends, was hidden in the very center of the temple, and reaching it was very difficult.

“This is a real labyrinth!” exclaimed Artyom. “How will we find the gemstone among all these treasures?”

“We need to carefully examine all the symbols left by the priests. They might guide us to the right path,” replied the professor, examining the walls.

They continued on their way and finally reached the main hall, where they discovered a massive stone altar with the gemstone sparkling on it in the dim light.

“There it is! We’ve found it!” Petya exclaimed joyfully, pointing at the stone.

But just as he said that, another trap was triggered. Sharp spikes began to fall from the ceiling, and it was unclear how they would escape the temple without getting caught in one of them.
