Bubble Races
Mila and her friends organize a race, creating magical bubbles. They come up with rules and compete to see who reaches the finish line first, enjoying a fun underwater competition.
A warm day dawned in the underwater world, and Mila, a little mermaid with long green hair and kind blue eyes, decided to organize something special. She had long dreamed of something fun and unusual to do with her friends, and suddenly, she came up with the perfect idea: bubble races.
Gathering her friends — Rocky the dolphin, Krevy the crab, and Lumie the jellyfish — Mila announced her plan:
— Today, we’re having a bubble race! We’ll create magical bubbles to swim in and see who can reach the finish line first!
Her friends were thrilled with the idea. Each of them loved fun underwater games and was excited to try something new.
— But first, let’s set some rules! — suggested Rocky, who always liked fair play. — Otherwise, the race could get a little chaotic.
They gathered in a circle to discuss the rules. They decided each participant should create their own bubble with magic and race in it to the finish line. The course would start from the coral reef and end at the large shell lying on the sandy seabed in open waters.
With a smile, Mila created the first bubble, which was transparent and shimmering with light. Her friends began making their bubbles: Rocky’s was blue and sturdy, Lumie’s was a glowing golden, and Krevy’s was green and unique, with small “tendrils” of bubbles.
Once everyone was ready, Mila signaled the start of the race:
— On your marks, get set... go!
All the racers took off simultaneously in their bubbles. The path was challenging, as currents changed periodically, and each had to skillfully control their bubble to stay on course. Mila raced forward but soon noticed Lumie ahead of her, her golden bubble shining brightly.
— Wow, Lumie, you’re fast! — exclaimed Mila, admiring her speed.
Lumie smiled back and cheered on her friends:
— Come on, don’t fall behind! And remember, the fun is what counts most!
As they swam, Rocky tried to pass through a section with strong currents. He had to deviate slightly, but he skillfully maneuvered his bubble, using his tail to steer. Meanwhile, Krevy adopted a “sprint” technique, occasionally pushing his bubble with his claws.
As they neared the finish line, Mila noticed her bubble beginning to drop slightly. She concentrated and created a small magical impulse, allowing her to move faster. At that moment, Rocky caught up with her, and they swam side by side, nearly at the same pace.
— Who will win? — Krevy asked excitedly, watching Mila and Rocky approach the finish line.
Gathering her last bit of energy, Mila gave one final push and reached the shell, marking the finish line first. Rocky finished right behind her, followed by Lumie and Krevy.
— Hooray! That was an amazing race! — Mila exclaimed joyfully, raising her hands high.
The friends laughed, sharing their excitement about the race. They were all delighted to have had fun and felt like true racers. They would remember this day as one of the most joyful and adventure-filled.
From then on, bubble races became their favorite pastime, and they often organized more, adding new rules and routes to make the races even more exciting and engaging.
