Creating a Collage: Vanya and Friends Make Their Story on Paper
Vanya and his friends create a collage from cutouts and drawings, learning how fun and interesting it is to work together, combining their imaginations and creative ideas.
One cloudy day, Anna Petrovna suggested to the children that they make a collage together. Vanya, Lisa, and Pasha were immediately interested, as they had never done such a unique creative activity before. Anna Petrovna explained that a collage is a large picture made from various cutouts, drawings, and materials, and that each of them could add their own unique touch to make it special.
On a big table, Anna Petrovna laid out paper, colorful magazines, glue, glitter, and markers. She suggested that the children pick a theme for their collage. After a brief discussion, the children decided they wanted to make a picture of "Happy Summer" with sunny days, green grass, and beautiful flowers. Vanya thought it would be nice to add the sea, and Lisa suggested painting a rainbow sky.
Vanya picked up the scissors and started cutting out pictures from magazines. He found an image of a big sun and cut it out carefully to place it as the center of their picture. Lisa selected colorful cutouts of flowers and butterflies to place on the meadow. Pasha decided to draw the sea and waves, using blue and white markers to make them bright and lively.
When the cutouts were ready, Anna Petrovna showed them how to apply glue carefully to attach each piece to the paper. Vanya placed the sun at the top of the collage to "shine" over the whole scene, while Lisa added flowers and butterflies around it to create a real summer meadow. Pasha drew the sea and added small paper boats, making a complete picture of a cheerful summer day.
As they worked, each of the children added new ideas. Vanya suggested making tiny people who could "play" on the meadow and swim in the sea. Lisa enthusiastically cut out figures from colorful paper and added bright outfits to them. Pasha came up with a way to make trees from green paper, which became another beautiful part of their picture. The children laughed and shared ideas to make the picture even more interesting.
When the collage was nearly finished, Lisa suggested adding some glitter to make the picture look magical. Vanya carefully sprinkled glitter on the "sun rays," and Pasha added some sparkly details to the water to make it look real. Anna Petrovna praised their ideas and their careful work, and the children happily finished their composition.
When the collage was complete, Anna Petrovna suggested that the children give their picture a name. After a short discussion, they all decided to call it "Our Happy Summer." The children were proud of their work and were excited to see their picture hanging on the wall in their group. They felt like real artists because their teamwork had created something beautifully unique.
Vanya, Lisa, and Pasha realized that teamwork makes the creative process even more enjoyable, as each of them added something unique. They talked about how the collage reflected their shared imaginations and memories and happily shared their experience with Anna Petrovna.
When Anna Petrovna hung the collage on the wall, all the children in the group came to look at "Our Happy Summer." They excitedly discussed the details each of them had made and were happy they had created such a beautiful picture together. Vanya, Lisa, and Pasha felt proud that their work was now part of the group’s decoration.
Moral: Creating together teaches us to work as a team and value each other’s ideas. When we combine our efforts, we can create something wonderful and beautiful, and the joy of working together stays with us for a long time.
