Visit to the Fire Station: Vanya Learns About Safety

One morning at preschool, Anna Petrovna announced that the children would go on a field trip to a fire station. Vanya and his friends, Liza and Pasha, were thrilled at the news. None of them had ever been to a real fire station, and they eagerly awaited meeting the firefighters. They knew that firefighters are brave people who help in difficult situations, and they were excited to learn more about them.

When they arrived, they were greeted by a tall firefighter named Alexei Sergeyevich. He smiled warmly and invited the children inside, telling them that today they would learn about how a fire station works and the safety rules needed to avoid danger. Vanya and his friends listened carefully, feeling like real explorers.

The first thing Alexei Sergeyevich showed the children was the special equipment that firefighters wear when called out. He explained that the suit protects them from fire and high temperatures, and a special mask helps them breathe in smoky areas. Liza asked if she could touch the helmet, and Alexei Sergeyevich agreed. The children eagerly tried on the helmets, amazed at how heavy they were.

Next, Alexei Sergeyevich showed the children the fire truck. It was huge and bright red, with big wheels and flashing lights. Pasha was surprised to see how much equipment was inside: hoses, ladders, and rescue tools. Alexei Sergeyevich explained that each tool is necessary for different situations and that the fire truck is a "moving command center" to help people.

The children moved closer and curiously peeked inside the truck. Vanya noticed a large hose coiled up and asked how it worked. Alexei Sergeyevich explained with a smile that the hose is connected to a hydrant, and water flows through it to help put out the fire. The children listened intently, realizing that each piece of equipment has an important purpose.

After the tour of the truck, Alexei Sergeyevich told the children about fire safety rules. He explained that in case of a fire, you shouldn’t hide, but leave the building immediately and call an adult for help. He also said that playing with matches and lighters is very dangerous and that young children should stay away from fire.

Vanya listened carefully and remembered all the rules. Liza asked what to do if a fire happens at home, and Alexei Sergeyevich explained that it’s important to leave the apartment as quickly as possible and call the fire department at 101. Pasha nodded seriously, promising to always be careful.

At the end of the tour, Alexei Sergeyevich invited the children to try "putting out" an imaginary fire. He handed them small hoses that sprayed water, and the children happily started "spraying" the pretend fire. They felt like real firefighters, laughing and imagining they were helping to save the world from fire. Vanya was thrilled with how much he had learned that day.

When the tour ended, the children thanked Alexei Sergeyevich for the interesting visit and promised to always follow the safety rules. Vanya proudly said that now he knew how important it was to be careful and make sure accidents don’t happen. Anna Petrovna also praised the children for paying attention and remembering all the advice.

Moral: Knowing safety rules helps protect ourselves and others. Firefighters do important work, and each of us can contribute by being careful and mindful of safety. Respecting the work of firefighters and following the rules is part of taking care of ourselves and those around us.
