Visiting Grandma: Vanya Shares His Adventures

Vanya had been eagerly awaiting this day—today he was going to visit his grandmother. Mom helped him get ready, and within a few minutes, they were already on their way. Vanya held a small bag in his hands, into which he had placed his favorite drawings and crafts from kindergarten. He knew how much Grandma loved listening to his stories and looking at everything he brought. The journey flew by, and soon Vanya was standing in front of Grandma's house.

Grandma greeted Vanya with a warm smile and a tight hug. She cherished every one of their visits, and Vanya was also very happy to see her again. She invited him into the kitchen, where hot tea and Vanya's favorite jam pastries were already waiting. They sat down at the table, and Grandma asked with interest how his days in kindergarten had been and what new things he had learned.

Vanya began telling Grandma about "Sports Day," which had recently taken place at kindergarten. He enthusiastically described how he participated in the competitions, how he ran in the relay race, and how he cheered on Lisa when she found it difficult. Grandma listened intently, smiling and offering warm words of support. She praised Vanya for helping his friends, explaining that supporting loved ones is an important part of friendship.

Then Vanya remembered their last cooking lesson at kindergarten. He told her how they made sandwiches with Anna Petrovna and how everyone could decorate their own dish. Vanya proudly showed Grandma a photo of the sandwich he made—with pieces of cucumber and tomato arranged in the shape of a smile. Grandma praised him for his efforts and said he would definitely become an excellent helper in the kitchen.

Next, Vanya took out his crafts and drawings. One of the drawings he had made especially for Grandma—it depicted a little house with trees and flowers. Grandma was touched by this gift and promised to hang the drawing on the wall so she could see it every day and remember how her grandson cares about her. Vanya was glad that Grandma liked his gift and promised to draw for her more often.

After sharing stories, Grandma suggested that Vanya take a little walk in the garden. They went outside, and Vanya looked with interest at the flowers and bushes that Grandma had planted around the house. She told him about each flower, explaining how to care for them. Vanya listened attentively and even decided that when he returned to kindergarten, he would tell his friends how to properly care for plants.

While they were walking, Grandma offered Vanya to water the flowers, and he gladly agreed. He carefully held the watering can and tried not to overwater, just as Grandma had taught him. It was a fun activity, and Vanya felt like a real helper. Grandma praised him for his efforts and said that her flowers grew so beautifully thanks to his care.

When it was time to say goodbye, Grandma hugged Vanya tightly and thanked him for the wonderful day. She asked him to visit more often and bring her his new drawings and crafts. Vanya promised to visit her and share all his adventures. They said their goodbyes, and on the way home, Vanya felt happy—he knew that Grandma was always glad to see him and that they had spent an amazing day together.
