Wild Boar Boris and His Forest Friends

In the forest lived a wild boar named Boris. Boris was big, but he was very kind and friendly. One autumn day, he decided to go for a walk in the forest to find some tasty acorns and meet his friends.

Boris was strolling along a forest path when he spotted a squirrel hopping from branch to branch.

"Hello, Squirrel!" said Boris with a smile. "What are you doing?"

The squirrel waved her bushy tail and replied, "Hi, Boris! I’m gathering nuts and mushrooms. Winter is coming, and I want to stock up on food!"

Boris nodded. "That’s right, it’s important to have supplies for winter! Maybe you can help me find some acorns?"

The squirrel agreed and showed Boris a tree where acorns were scattered around.

After gathering acorns together, Boris said goodbye to the squirrel and continued on his way. Soon he met his friend, a rabbit named Zuza.

"Hi, Zuza! How are you?" asked Boris.

"Hi, Boris! I’m looking for soft grass to make my burrow cozy for winter!" replied the rabbit, examining the ground.

Boris chuckled and said, "Maybe I can help you find some grass? Together, we’ll gather a lot!"

The rabbit was happy, and together they began collecting soft grass and leaves so the rabbit could have a warm nest.

When they finished, Boris said goodbye to the rabbit and continued his walk. Suddenly, he heard a creaking sound—it was a hedgehog named Fedya, rolling an apple on his back.

"Hi, Fedya! Is that apple heavy for you to carry?" asked Boris, seeing how hard the hedgehog was working.

The hedgehog replied, "Yes, it’s a little heavy, but I’ll get to my den soon!"

"Let me help you!" offered Boris, carefully picking up the apple without disturbing any of the hedgehog's spines.

Fedya was very grateful and thanked Boris for his help. Boris was glad he could assist his friends and felt how nice it was to share kindness.

In the evening, Boris was heading home when he met the wise old owl, Phillip, perched on a branch and watching over the forest.

"Hello, Phillip!" said Boris. "Are you keeping watch over the forest?"

Phillip nodded. "Of course, Boris. I always keep order in the forest, especially in autumn. Everyone here is busy preparing for winter!"

Boris smiled, thinking about how everyone in their forest helped each other, and how it made them all friends.

So Boris’s day passed, filled with friendly encounters, care, and winter preparations. On his way home, he thought about how he was ready to face winter surrounded by such kind forest friends.
