Sandcastle

Mila and her friends decide to build the largest sandcastle on the ocean floor, but the currents keep washing away the walls. The friends come up with creative ways to strengthen the castle so that it can withstand the underwater challenges.

Sandcastle

It was a beautiful morning on the ocean floor, and the sun’s rays filtered through the water, illuminating the sandy bottom with a soft light. Mila, a little mermaid with green hair and a kind heart, was especially happy about the warm weather today. She met up with her friends — Rocky the dolphin and Crevy the crab — and suggested that they spend the day having fun and being creative.

“Let’s build the biggest sandcastle on the entire ocean floor!” Mila suggested enthusiastically, her eyes shining with excitement.

Rocky, always ready for an adventure, agreed immediately:

“Great idea, Mila! This will be our castle, and all the sea creatures will admire it!”

Crevy, though a little more reserved, didn’t want to be left out. He said:

“It won’t be easy, but I’m sure we can build a strong castle together!”

The friends chose a flat area on the sandy bottom, free of seaweed and rocks, as the perfect spot for their grand project. They got to work immediately: Rocky collected sand, Mila formed the walls, and Crevy used his claws to smooth the edges and create beautiful patterns on the castle’s walls.

Before long, the castle began to take shape. Tall walls, little towers, and a wide gate — everything looked amazing. But just as they finished one of the walls, a sudden underwater current rose, lifting the sand and causing part of the castle to collapse.

“Oh no!” Mila cried out, distressed that all their hard work was at risk. “Our castle is falling apart!”

Rocky and Crevy noticed the problem too and thought about how to solve it. Rocky suggested:

“Maybe we should reinforce the walls with something stronger than just sand, like seaweed or rocks?”

The idea sounded good, and the friends decided to try it. They went off to find larger stones and seaweed to add to the castle’s foundation. Once they had everything they needed, Mila and Rocky carefully wove the seaweed into the walls, creating a natural "net" to hold the sand in place.

Meanwhile, Crevy placed stones around the foundation, making it more stable. The castle looked even more beautiful and sturdy, but just as they thought the problem was solved, another strong current disrupted their plans again.

Now they realized they’d need an even more thoughtful solution to keep the castle standing against the currents.

“Maybe we should create a protective barrier?” Mila suggested. “If we build small walls around the castle, they can absorb the impact of the current and stop it from destroying our castle.”

Everyone liked the idea, and they started building a barrier around the castle. They used stones and seaweed to construct a ring around the main structure, hoping that this solution would protect the castle when the next current hit.

After a while, the barrier was complete, and another underwater current hit their structure. But this time, the protective barrier held strong and kept the castle walls safe from collapse. The friends cheered as their plan worked.

“We did it!” Mila exclaimed happily, hugging Rocky and Crevy. “Now our castle will stand strong and bring joy to all the sea creatures!”

All three were proud of their achievement. Their castle had become a true work of art, symbolizing their friendship, perseverance, and teamwork. It wasn’t just a sand structure anymore, but a place where they could gather and enjoy their time together.

From then on, the friends often gathered around their castle, played nearby, came up with new ideas for building, and shared their dreams. The castle reminded them that together, they could overcome any challenge and create something truly amazing.
