Secret Hideaway

On a sunny autumn day, Illya, Nikita, and Lisa decided to go for a walk in the yard after school. They explored every tree and corner around the house when Lisa suddenly noticed a narrow path that led behind the house.

"Hey, guys, let's go and see where it leads!" she suggested excitedly.

Illya and Nikita enthusiastically agreed. The path was narrow and partly hidden under dense bushes. The kids carefully made their way forward, pushing through the thicket. Finally, they reached a small, secluded nook behind the house, where there was an old bench surrounded by bushes, as if the spot was intentionally hidden from prying eyes.

"Wow, it’s so cozy and quiet here," Lisa said with admiration.

Illya nodded:

"This could be our secret spot! No one will find us here."

The kids immediately began brainstorming how to make this place even cozier. They decided to bring old blankets and pillows to sit on and to build a small "tent" out of sticks and an old sheet that Nikita still had from their summer games.

The next day, they met in the yard and brought everything they needed for their hideaway. Nikita brought the old sheet, Lisa found some blankets, and Illya took care of the pillows. The kids worked together, helping each other secure the sheet between branches to create a shelter from the wind.

When everything was ready, they settled down on their makeshift seats and looked around with satisfaction. Now, this place truly belonged to them, and each felt safe and comfortable.

"It’s so cool that we now have our own secret spot!" Illya said happily. "We can come here after school and just relax."

"We could bring books here and read together," Lisa suggested. "Or even have small picnics."

The idea appealed to everyone, and the kids agreed to meet there every day after school. At that moment, they felt like the "owners" of this hidden spot, and each had an idea to make the place even cozier and more interesting.

Thus began their regular meetings in the secret place. Each time, they brought something new: Lisa brought old books with beautiful illustrations, Nikita brought small clay figurines he had made himself, and Illya found a flashlight so they could sit there even when it began to get dark.

Every evening, as they arrived at their hideout, they shared stories about their day, talked about their dreams and plans. Sometimes, they played made-up games where this corner became a ship, an abandoned castle, or even a place full of hidden treasures.

Illya felt that they now shared a small secret that no one else knew. This spot was not just a corner in the yard but a symbol of their friendship, where each could simply be themselves. He realized that the true value of this corner wasn’t in its comfort but in being with friends who always supported and understood him.

As autumn came and the evenings grew colder, they wrapped themselves in blankets and listened to the wind rustling the leaves around them. This hidden spot became a real oasis of peace for them, where each could forget about worries and enjoy being together.

From that time on, Illya, Lisa, and Nikita knew that they could always come here, laugh, discuss something important, or simply enjoy the silence together. Their secret spot became a place where they felt truly happy.
