The Friendly Ghost in the Moonlit House: A Gentle Scary Story for Kids

On the edge of a little village, there was an old house that looked mysterious and magical in the moonlight. A ghost lived in this house, but it wasn’t scary at all – it was friendly and kind.

Each night, the ghost would quietly come out to wander under the moonlight. It was never lonely, as the forest animals were its friends. The ghost often made them laugh by forming glowing shapes in the mist and playing hide-and-seek.

One night, the ghost noticed someone approaching the house. It was a little boy who had heard that someone lived there and wanted to see. The ghost peeked around the door, glowing like a tiny spark.

The boy wasn’t scared at all; he just smiled. He came closer and said:

— Hello, ghost! I heard that you live here. Are you friendly?

The ghost laughed and twirled around as if it were dancing. It showed the boy how it could make funny shapes, and then it invited him inside to see its glowing treasures.

Inside, the boy saw many interesting things the ghost had collected in the forest: shiny stones, leaves, and glowing bugs. They became friends and decided to meet on the moonlit meadow every night.

From then on, every moonlit night, the boy would visit his new friend. They would play, tell each other stories, and have fun while the moon shone over the little house.

And when someone asked the boy if he was scared, he would always laugh and say:
